Kathy received her law degree from the University of Alberta Law School in 2013, where, as part of the University of Alberta Laskin moot team, she and her three teammates won the top school prize at the 2013 Laskin Memorial Moot. This marked the first time that any western Canadian law school had ever won this prize in the history of the national, bilingual moot competition. Kathy mooted and wrote a portion of the factum in French.
After articling with the City of Edmonton, Kathy was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2014.
Kathy’s practice focuses on wills, estate planning and administration, family law, civil litigation, and refugee claims, in both English and French. With a strong background in customer service and driven by a strong desire to help people, Kathy understands the importance of client engagement, open communication and accountability. She is committed to treating her clients respectfully, honestly and with the utmost integrity.
